Evolution at work at Darwinex, you will have noticed significant changes to the user interface this morning.

We are running a couple of webinars in the coming days to explain all the new features, make sure you register here.

Next time you visit us you’ll find:

1. DarwinIA 2.0

GAME ON!!! From September 2015, the new DarwinIA edition includes a 20,000 € fund allocation in the best 16 DARWINs. Click here to visit the new DarwinIA section and don’t forget to register for our webinar on DarwinIA scheduled for this Friday!

Note: updated rules whereby only the best out of too closely correlated DARWINs can enter DarwinIA on any given month will be deployed on Thursday.

2. Changes to Darwinex levels

Big changes have been to the way strategies are ranked! The newbie level has been removed and there are now different paths to make it to the top level (i.e. you don’t need to nail all attributes to grow to expert!). Also, we introduced changes to the way risk management & loss aversion are measured (i.e. consistency attribute).  A detailed post on these changes to follow!

Note: strategies are currently being re-analysed as per the new criteria so please don’t panic if you notice weird results in the coming hours!

3. New Darwinian filters

From now on, you will be able to save investor filters & assign them an avatar to spot DARWINs meeting a given filter’s criteria. DARWINs will appear greyed out / coloured for you to easily identify if they meet your filter’s criteria. We highly recommend re-creating your filters as the new filters fix a bug.

Our webinar on using the filters teaches to make the most out of it!

4. Consolidating risk levels

Further to last week’s announcement, DARWINs will only be offered with 20% monthly Value at Risk (VaR) going forward. One of the major implications of this is that returns on the DARWIN interface & DarwinIA are benchmarked to 20% monthly VaR DARWINs – this makes a DARWIN portfolio about as risky as a stock index.

Detailed posts on each of the upgrades are underway… the best is yet to come!!!
